Where’s the pics at??
Been a hellishly busy week/month. Damn! And there’s no let up til the new year. The only plus side is that it’s all art related, so not really complaining.
Sideroom.com launched the 2nd issue of their magazine, (check it out in a store near you, features Jim Phillips; anyone who skated in the 80’s and early 90’s will either have owned or wanted to own one of his decks) with a monster of a party at 4:20 and the rising sun last friday night. Cut Collective painted a huge canvas, battling dero’s, wasters and well meaning inquisitive but distracting folk all night for an OK result. Might get some flicks up here later.
Check out this segment on ex-hamtron, now ak based artist Ouch from TVNZ 6’s arts show The Gravy;

And while you’re at it try this one to spend some time with notorious ak writer RushT;

And no it’s not just words, this is in from Taupo. Check the eyepatch, looks like a felt pocket?!
