Graffiato 2012
After an incredibly successful debut Graffiato returns in 2012 to bring you some of the best and most interesting NZ street art to be seen in one place at one time.
Over one weekend the work of these artists will transform the public spaces of Taupo, providing a rare experience for the artists to come together on a town-wide collaboration, and for the public to witness it all unfold right in front of them.
The event will take place over Labour Weekend, Oct 19, 20, 21 and 22 and is a celebration of street art and graffiti that will add to the collection of murals already in place from Graffiato 2011.
We know these artists don’t just paint walls either an we are pleased to announce the Graffiato program has now expanded to include an exhibition. We will be hosting a group show of the work these artists make when given the luxury of time, space and a controlled environment.
To register your interest as a participant you need to lodge an application by clicking on the link, filling out the form and returning to the Graffiato curator by August 17.
